Cheering CAS

January 23 2550, we were pinned down by covenant forces on the tropical colony of Cadmus. We got used to the idea that the squad would not survive the engagement, but we had to hold on for the civilians of the sector to evacuate the planet. Then we heard two AV-14 Hornet roar above our head, strafing and bombing the covenant positions. I have never been so happy to receive some well placed CAS ! I don't think we would have made it out Cadmus without them...
