In the vast wilderness of Manitoba in 1902, Carl Mcburry embarks on a desperate quest to find his missing mother. His blurry memories lead him to a small abandoned village, nestled in the south of the province, where his mother once sought refuge. Surrounded by a dense forest and dark swamps, this village seems frozen in time, its dilapidated buildings and deserted streets bearing witness to its years of abandonment. Armed with an old yellowed postcard depicting the peaceful village of River Town, Carl sets off on a solitary exploration in search of clues.
