Sentio marcescere

A moment of emptiness, when motivation fades and nothing seems to have any taste.
No desire to draw, no desire to play, no desire for anything at all. And yet, I still opened my tablet and let this image come out: my OC, slumped over the desk, searching for a spark of inspiration that just won’t appear.

I titled this piece “Sentio Marcescere”, which means “I feel myself withering.”
Because sometimes, art is the only way to capture those moments when everything feels like it’s slowly fading away.
