Militat omnis amans

Hey, so for Valentine’s Day, I’ve decided to make another fanart/fanfiction—I’m not sure what to call it yet, but I absolutely adore lesbian love stories. So, I’ve gone with Tempest and Thistle from A Short Longing in a super tender embrace.

To stay on theme with romance, I tried out Krita, and I’ve totally fallen in love with it! I usually use Clip Studio, but I really want to keep exploring Krita—long live Europe, and it’s free!

For the background, I wanted to recreate landscapes inspired by the Alps. I think I nailed the pine trees without overdoing the brushwork, so they’ve got a nice, natural silhouette.
