Music & Erotism

This illustration is intended to be a cover for a music student magazine, Gounod Blaster. The theme of this edition was eroticism and music. The customer wanted to represent, on his first cover, that music can be as sensual as sex, to show well are erotic side.
I was inspired by the style of Alfons Mucha to make this illustration. So I drew a couple in love, while pretending to play music, the woman playing the recorder, portraying a fellatio after the sexologist Ernest Borneman, in her book «Sex in popular language», and the man playing the guitar or double bass, with his pubic hair, representing masturbation in the woman.
