The Perseus

Hello everyone!

For my 28th birthday, I wanted to pay tribute to one of my favourite ships from Star Citizen: the RSI Perseus.

I imagined it in the middle of a desperate battle against two Vanduul Maulers. Outnumbered, scarred by enemy fire, yet still advancing. The Perseus was designed to face impossible odds, and that is exactly what I wanted this painting to capture: resilience, determination, and the refusal to fall.

Rather than depicting a flawless victory, I wanted to portray a fleeting moment where everything hangs in the balance. The outcome is uncertain, but the crew keeps fighting because there is simply no other choice.

This illustration also marks a new stage in my artistic journey. I recently redesigned my entire visual identity, from my logo to my banners, and I want to keep improving my skills in digital painting, writing, and 3D modelling.

Finally, I'd like to thank Cloud Imperium Games for creating such a rich universe. Star Citizen has fueled my imagination for years, and I hope this painting conveys a small part of the wonder I feel every time I explore it.
