Voici l'une de mes premières illustrations, que j'ai dû réaliser à la souris. Elle représente une île mystérieuse, au-dessus de laquelle un mage fait une incantation, sans qu'on sache vraiment laquelle. Un pont y laisse présager un message : faut-il l'emprunter ou non, au milieu de nulle part, pour rejoindre l'île ? Ou bien ce pont, seul au milieu de la mer, évoque un sentiment de solitude. En tout cas, chacun y voit son propre message.

Here is one of my first illustrations, which I had to make using a mouse. It shows a mysterious island with a mage hovering above it, casting a spell, though we can't quite tell what kind. A bridge hints at a message: should we cross it or not, in the middle of nowhere, to reach the island? Or perhaps the bridge, standing alone in the middle of the sea, evokes a feeling of solitude. Either way, everyone sees their own message in it.
